Responsible delivery

Legal & licensing notice.

This notice explains how international enquiries are handled and why the precise service model depends on the country in which work is to be performed.

1. Our role

International Bodyguards is presented on this website as an international protection coordination and client-support service. We receive enquiries, help define assignment requirements and may arrange or introduce suitable personnel or service providers.

The brand does not claim to hold a security-company licence in every country. Where an activity is regulated, it will be offered or performed only through an appropriately authorised provider or person and only within the scope permitted by local law.

2. Local law controls every assignment

Private-security, close-protection, driving, weapons, uniforms, communications equipment and data-handling rules differ between jurisdictions. Any proposed service remains subject to local law, licensing, permits, insurance, availability, risk review and final written confirmation.

Website references to worldwide or international coverage mean that enquiries can be assessed and coordinated internationally. They do not amount to a blanket licence, a promise of availability or permission to perform regulated work anywhere in the world.

3. Hong Kong

Hong Kong regulates the security industry through the Security and Guarding Services Ordinance (Cap. 460). Where a Hong Kong assignment falls within regulated security work, the relevant company and personnel licensing or permit requirements must be satisfied before that work is performed.

Official information is available from the Hong Kong Police on the Security Personnel Permit and from the Security Companies Inspection Unit.

4. Armed protection and restricted equipment

No armed capability should be assumed. A request involving firearms, other weapons or restricted equipment will be considered only where lawful, appropriately licensed, available, insured and operationally justified. Many jurisdictions restrict or prohibit armed private security.

5. Selection and confirmation

Personnel and providers are considered against assignment-specific requirements. Relevant evidence may include lawful work eligibility, licences or permits, experience, training, language, driving capability, local knowledge, insurance and suitability for the client environment.

Nothing is booked solely by submitting an enquiry. Scope, provider, personnel, timing, price and applicable terms must be confirmed in writing before an assignment begins.

6. Emergencies and reliance on this website

This website is not an emergency-response service. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency services. Website content is general information and does not replace a location-specific assessment, legal advice or a confirmed service agreement.
